We are a friendly, country pub situated in the picturesque village of Cartmel, within short walking distance of Cartmel Priory and Cartmel Racecourse.

We offer a choice of real ales, craft beers or fine wines and spirits to be enjoyed in a choice of settings; be it sat by the log fire in the bar, seated in the cosy snug, dining in the bistro or relaxing in the sunny beer garden. Dogs welcome!

Our menu is ever changing and our food is locally sourced. Serving lunchtime and evening meals, with vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Furthermore, for children, we have a 'Diddy Diners' and 'Young Diners' option. Every Sunday we have a special roast for you to enjoy and also the option of nibbles and snacks if you are looking for a lighter bite in the bar.
